The Treasury appointed an independent valuer in June 2009, who has determined that no compensation is payable to persons who held shares in Bradford & Bingley immediately before they were transferred to public ownership. Further information about the independent valuer and the reasons for his determination can be found at www.bandbvaluer.org.uk. The Valuer's determination is the subject of an appeal to the Upper Tribunal (Tax & Chancery Chamber) and it is therefore still important that you inform us if your personal details change.
For address changes, please write to the Registrar, Computershare Investor Services PLC, PO Box 1913, The Pavilions, Bridgwater Road, Bristol, BS99 2PR quoting your Securityholder Reference Number (SRN), which is shown on your Nominee Statement or your Tax Voucher. Please detail your old and new address in the correspondence. For name changes, please write to the Registrar enclosing an original or copy, certified by a solicitor, bank or notary, of a document showing your new name.
